About Me

Powerlifting has been a major confidence boost for myself. It has taught me many lessons that apply to all areas of life and ones that I owe entirely to the barbell. Coaching is a way for me to instill those lessons and confidence onto others in the best way I know how; by educating.

From beginner to intermediate, all lifters are welcome on Team Habitual Strength. There is no total requirement or strength level requirement. I only ask for those I work with to be intentional.

I went to college for my BA in Pyschology, focusing on neuroscience and behavioral psychology. As a coach, this helps me to better understand a lifter’s point of view and feelings, as well as effectively communicate with them in a way that benefits their education. Knowing how a lifter learns best is something I like to focus on. The more that I know about what drives a lifter to stay on track and get stronger, the better I can help them perform.

I am a certified Performance Nutrition Coach for Level 1, 2, and 3 from BioLayne and Clean Health Institute, as well as Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certified. I am also a Girls Gone Strong Certified Pre and Post Natal Coach and Menopause Coaching Specialist.

As an athlete, I have achieved an International Elite Total three times. Once in the 181lb raw division, the 165lb raw division, and the 148lb raw division. I am currently a judge for the WRPF.
